Tater Patch Theater in Sight3/9/2010 - Your actors need your help. We have found a building that will work for us as a theater. However, times being what they are, financing has tightened up considerably at the banks. We find that, while we can do the build out and make the payments, there is a need for a larger down payment than we had anticipated. The bottom line is, we need $25000 for additional down payment funds and the clock is ticking! The owner needs to sell the building now and we want it to be sold to us. We are so close we can taste it! We can't give you a lot of details at this point, but want you to know that the building is on the Highway 515 side of Jasper, quite large with space for adequate parking. The building is virtually empty and just begging to become the performance space we and you need. There is potential for more theater, camps, workshops, music, movies and more. The asking price is under $300,000 and the funds we've saved and that you have helped us raise will go far. But unfortunately, they won't go quite far enough. We need a little more to make a viable down payment. That will leave us enough in reserve to begin the build-out. Many of our audience members and friends have said to us that they wish we had a home. Just a few dollars from each of those people will put us IN that home.
